Maintenance assured is a start up plumbing company from March, Cambridgeshire. Maintenance assured came to me to provide them with a website & email management including search engine optimisation.

Julies bakery is a local bakery providing homemade soups, jacket potatoes, pastries, sandwiches and cakes. Previously part of a large chain, this store had to close due to the recession, bought back to life under new owners and new name Julies Bakery was launched. As part of the rebranding, a fresh website was provided by myself with functionality coming soon to create custom sandwiches and order online!

MySiteStuff is a free web tool for web professionals to analyze their websites. MySiteStuf got a fresh new look and new content and has been put back online.

Whilst working at Outplay Media I was asked to do an Xhtml and CSS template conversion of the Neo Homes design concept and implement it into Outplay's custom CMS. For this I used Xhtml, CSS, OOP PHP and Mysql.

Whilst working at Outplay Media I was asked to help develop and content manage the Lumie website. Tasks included basic CSS fixes and OOP PHP development.

Whilst working for Outplay Media I was asked to design and develop their Genie brand homepage. I designed the site using Photoshop CS 3 and developed it using Xhtml, Css, PHP, MySql and Ajax.

Midway motorbikes is situated in Witchford just outside of Ely in Cambridgeshire. They offer servicing, repairs & Mot's to all makes of motorcycle, They also have an accessory shop with products from Oxford, Bike it & Morris Lubricants.

I designed and developed their first website with simplicity in mind. The site was to be as easy to navigate as possible and very eye pleasing.

Tilestore is a bespoke E-Commerce site designed and developed by myself whilst working at Lifetime Web Services Ltd.

I was mainly employed at Lifetime so I could develop this site. The site runs off asp, xhtml, css, javascript, access and sql server which is updated nightly from tilestore's internal sage database.

The site allows you to create an account, make a shortlist of tiles you are interested in and save them to your account for future reference, order samples, download the latest brochure, view information about the different stores with google maps installed on the page. The site allows you to see room setting photos so you can see how the tiles look in a room.

The site also allows you to created an order and have it delivered to your door which saves you the hassle of going and buying the tiles if you have already picked the ones you want.

Whilst working at Lifetime Web Services Ltd, I was asked to come up with a design concept for Quanta Contracts Ltd. I came up with 3 concepts. A decision as to which design hasn't been made as of yet.

Whilst working at Lifetime Web Services, I was solely responsible for maintaining and updating the Lisa Kent Trust website which included the development of a custom made sponsorship management system. I developed the system using ASP and access databases to allow users of the website to sponsor children with ease. Previously the charity were only able to accept sponsorships via phone or post.

Lisa Kent Trust is a charity dedicated to providing education for children in Gambia. Working closely with the organisation I was able to develop a system that is entirely to their needs including automatic sponsorship renewal notification and online certification generation.

Messengerm8s is a social networking site based around the use of instant messengers such as skype, msn, yahoo etc. The site is aimed towards teens who use instant messengers to communicate with mates.

The site has the functionality to invite other people via messenger login & mass email, insite messaging between members, personal profile, photo gallery, messenger online/offline status and much more.

I was asked to redesign Sewaco Ltd's website whilst working at Lifetime Web. I only created one design idea and the client loved it. It brings a fresh approach to the technical industry of sewage works.

Whilst working at Lifetime, I was asked to design a concept for Wilcox Commercial Vehicles Ltd. I designed 3 concepts and the client picked bits out of each of them which resulted in a 4th and final design being made and used.

One of the tasks I was asked to do whilst employed by Lifetime Web was to redesign and develop their new site. The site has been designed with emphasis on the design aspect of the internet and uses xhtml, css, asp and access to run.

I was asked to design and develop a site for Potter Shelley & Co whilst working at lifetime web.

I created a design that is both stylish and professional and developed the site using the latest standards and accessibility guidelines.

The site was designed in Photoshop CS2 and developed using xhtml, css and asp.

Best-Insults is a site aimed at creating a online resource for the best insults around.

I developed this site using an open source template and ran a competition on pixel2life.com for a logo design. The site was made to give users complete control of the ranking of insults. Users could submit insults and once approved by a moderator could rank on them accordingly.

The site reached almost 1000 insults before going offline due to server move and non database retrieval.

Spunky-Monkey is a site I own which is in the adult sector. The site generated content provided by RSS feeds from an affiliate site.

My site stuff gives you all the information you need for your site, From validating it to checking for spelling mistakes. We provide you with all the information you need to get your site up to scratch!


What? My Site Stuff allows you to analyze, assess and validate using various tools avaliable on the web, link your blog value for example.


Why? Instead of searching around on the net trying to validate your site, making sure it complies to laws you can come here, post your link and get more information that you could hope to find by searching yourself.

PDQ (Pretty Damn Quick) Taxis are a local taxi firm from Ely, Cambridgeshire. PDQ Taxis are a revelotionary taxis firm that are thinking green. They are getting the laws changed on how small a taxi can be and aim to bring the Smart Cars into action. This means cheaper cab rides for all.

I developed an online content management system using PHP and MySql for this company.

Hesitate is a local band that just rocks! They have just recorded their first mini album and are wanting more! They play at local gigs near Ely and Cambridge.

The site is designed and developed using xhtml transitional and css by myself.

I was asked to do a simple xhtml & css conversion of a design for Shaws Solutions who is a lifestyle consultant.

Xhtml & Css involved.

Eastern Utility Services (EUS) are an overhead line maintenance company specializing in maintenance on live wires. They started to expand rather rapidly and their system of spreadsheets over a vpn (Virtual Private Network) connection was becoming inefficient. Whilst working at Laugh Out Loud, I was asked to develop a bespoke online project management system for EUS.



The project management system had to allow for a hierarchy of projects, tasks, quotes and invoices and also allow EUS's customers to be able to access it to show the current status of their working that is pending. Customers would also need to approved quotes and mark work as complete before it can proceed along the work flow.



The project management system was name WWMD which represents Web Workflow Manager Database. This system proved within its first week to be more successful and beneficial to both EUS and their clients than the old spreadsheets and faxing quotes.

Netflare is a company I worked for for 1 year after I left college. My first 6 months there I was employed as a Junior Web Developer carrying out tasks such as basic development of sites and maintenance on existing clients sites. During my time there, I redeveloped the main Netflare site. This is built in Joomla and was designed by Design Monkey.

SmartCti is a website owned by Oak Telecom. During my time there I was asked to redesign and develop a content management system for this site. The site is coded in php and mysql using a bespoke content management system.
