Mornin'

Its 6:51am, I have been up for just under half an hour due to another panic attack in my sleep. I forgot to take my medication last night so wasn't able to experience the "happy happy dreams" my doctor promised me.

Well, I have touched up the site a little bit, hense the blog post title, been a while since I have really done much to the site, it's due to the lack of online time these days.

I finally got my pc back yesterday so should be online more, which means Communi-web will be under full blown development soon.

Personal life is going about the same... Sophie still wont let me see my daughter, me and Robyn are getting on great, she is going to see her dad this week for a couple of weeks which is really good. Going to miss her like crazy but she doesn't get to see him much so I am happy for her

We watched Wanted yesterday. All I have to say is "wow". I really enjoyed that film. It's a definate must see film this year, I wouldn't, however, put Hancock in that list. What a dissapointment.

Well now, things have been a bit hectic recently. For those that know of my old site (thewebdude.co.uk) you will notice a change in the domain name. This is because thewebdude.co.uk expired and im too poor to renew it. Sucks dont it.

Well as of last friday (20th June) I am officially a father. My daughter Ruby Elizabeth Read was born all strong and healthy.

At some point soon I will be continuing work on my social networking site which was put on hold as well with my career for a while while I dealt with some medical issues I was having. I will be back in full force as soon as possible.

Not a lot else I can say really.

Ok so I know I haven't posted anything for a long time. To be honest, not a lot happened up untill the past 2 weeks or something. I just posted a bulletin on myspace kind of summing up the past weekend that I am litterally just going to copy and paste on here explaining my weekend and how brilliant it was.

This weekend was the most random weekend i have ever had i think. Left mine on friday, nowhere to go, nothing to do, ended up going all over the place, getting VERY drunk, almost bottled a pikey, spent loads of money that wasn't even mine, sorted a lot of shit out in my life, helped my sister walk, helped my sister not get sick in her hair, random ass taxi journey, lost my phone in mepal, found my phone on my bed even though i didn't take it home.

Made a fat bruise on someones back, helped some old man cos he couldn't walk through too much booze, dyed my hair red, won £70 on scratch cards, busted my knuckle, met some random guy and gave him my number to sell me a car, took a 2 hour walk that normally takes 20 mins, split 2 of my best mates up, got them back together, spoke to my brother, got simon to speak to my brother, told my l ife story had someone else tell me their life story, had loads of ice creams i dont think there was much else really...

So yeah, its been a while since I have posted on here. Not a good thing as one of my goals was to start posting at least weekly...

I am working again now, so online a lot more, hopefully this will mean I will start blogging a lot more. It all depends if more stuff goes on in my life.
Been coding some pretty fancy AJAX over the last couple of days. Got to design a couple of sites as well. I got an email for Jagex (makers of runescape) asking me if I was interested in working for them. God I wish I could. I dont feel confident enough working for big companies yet, plus my morals are keeping me with this company. Dont want to leave after a week of getting the job,p after 6 months of job hunting lol.

I should be getting back on the road this week, which will be a huge relif. Currently living at my nans, looking for a place of my own but need to get a better job to be able to afford it (yes I know I got offered one!)

Life is so complicated some times.

I have just tweaked the site a little bit. I have removed the gallery page as I didn't seem to get around to finishing the photo gallery off. I have replaced that with a goals page which lists goals I wish to complete this year. This will be added to when I think of more.

I have just remembered about a charity site I did some work for whilst working at Lifetime Web so I have added that to my portfolio as well. I now have 22 projects listed in my portfolio with more to come.

Last night I joined an online job site created for I.T. Professionals, it allows me to search for work and employers to search for employees so I have listed my portfolio on there and some information about me. It is a pretty easy to use site although it could be much better. Creative Pool.

MySiteStuff.co.uk has been relaunched today with a fresh new look and a lot more content.

The site is a free web tool allowing web professionals to run site checks such as validation checks. MySiteStuff links in over 200 freely available tools from the web all to one place for ease of access.

I have just added some new content on the site. First off I have added 3 new sites in my portfolio, Neo homes, Lumie and Genie Group. These 3 sites were developed while I worked at Outplay Media.

I have also added a new page called my bookmarks linked from my about page. This page is mainly for my reference but there for others to view as well. It is a list of some of my bookmarks of sites I visit or interesting things I have found on the internet that I wish to share with others.
